Welcome to my website

This is the first post on my new website. I built it as a small, quiet corner of the internet — a place to publish my research, the projects I take on, and the occasional thought.

Why a personal site

A lot of good thinking never leaves a notebook. Writing it down in public forces a kind of clarity that private notes don't, and it leaves a trail I can look back on later.

Here's what I plan to write about:

• Research — notes from what I'm working on, and the ideas behind it.
• Projects — things I build, and what I learn building them.
• Thoughts — shorter, less polished pieces.

How this works

Every post is just a Markdown file in content/blog/. To publish a new one, I add a file, commit it, and push — the site rebuilds itself.

The best time to start writing was years ago. The second best time is today.
